Bussiness Going under?
Remain calm. I know that sounds like the dumbest thing you could ever hear anyone tell you right now. but remain calm. You do not want to go job hunting looking like you are in a panic. You do not go looking for a job and just jump on the first thing that comes. You have access to the internet, or you wouldn’t be here reading this. Look at the top of this site, There is a cool job search tool just waiting for you to use. It is set up specifically for job searching.
Okay back to the issue. No one will ever take you serious if you are running around in panicked circles.
You have to relax think clearly. Go to your company’s competitor and go get a job there doing what you do. Like me, I am the webdesigner for the company I work for. I can easily make it clear to the owner of the next place that I am the one who kept our company on the top of all searches. Oddly enough, my primary job is fire alarm design. I just doodled around with teh website from time to time trying to make sure I had more fire alarms to design.
See you have to think clear and be casual. not freaking out. Don’t give up. Try other stuff. I can never give up. It is not in me to ever give up. I may get tired and rest a bit longer than I should, but in the meantime I am coming up with ways to resolve my issue.
I typically do.
We all can. It’s human.
Best to job hunt before the company goes under. Or you will be the last person of the 200 people in your building looking for the exact same job you are.
So go quick. Don’t wait just tell them on the ap for ” when you can start” . Instead of saying two weeks, say three. Give it time to even out or get better.
